Churches:
The two historic churches bordering the Old Glenora neighbourhood are Robertson Presbyterian (later Robertson Wesley United Church) and Christ Church Anglican. Both congregations had their beginnings in 1909. Their current buildings on 102nd Avenue between 121st and 123rd Streets, followed in 1914 and 1921 respectively.
The Roman Catholic Parish of St. Joachim’s, originally located within Fort Edmonton, moved to Jasper Avenue and 121st Street. In 1910, the congregation moved once more to 110th Street south of Jasper Avenue. This historic brick church with its unique architecture is still standing today.
